The World Championship
The World Championship is where the season culminates - the most accomplished students from across the world meet on a single, rigorously verified stage.

The season's most accomplished students from across 145+ countries meet on a single world stage.

A live, supervised, project and case-based final - the standard against which World Rank Holder status is earned.

Qualify for the World Final
The highest-rated students in each track are invited to the live, supervised championship.
Qualification
How students qualify
Qualification is earned over the season, not in a single sitting. Students build a skill rating across the Qualifier and National Rounds; the highest-rated in each track are invited to the World Championship.
Because the rating rewards performance against calibrated difficulty, a place is a mark of consistent, demonstrated skill.

How the final is judged
Proven consistency over the season, balanced with peak performance on the day.
Season rating
A normalized measure of consistent skill built across the whole season.
Final-round performance
Judged project and case-based work, evaluated live against a published rubric.
Final standing blends the two, so the championship rewards both the marathon and the sprint. Every result is contestable through a defined appeals window.

Frequently asked questions
What students and parents ask most about reaching the final.
How does a student qualify for the World Championship?
Qualification is earned over the season, not in a single sitting. Students build a skill rating across the Qualifier and National Rounds, and the highest-rated in each track are invited to the World Final. A place is a mark of consistent, demonstrated skill.
Is the World Final online or in person?
The World Final is a live, supervised, project and case-based event - the one stage where full integrity investment applies, ideally hosted through school partners or invigilated centers. Everything that builds a student's rating before it happens online from home.
How is the champion decided?
Final standing blends proven consistency with peak performance on the day: 40 percent from a normalized season rating and 60 percent from judged final-round work, evaluated live against a published rubric. Every result is contestable through a defined appeals window.
What do champions receive?
Champions earn World Rank Holder status and verifiable recognition that follows them onward - a credible, checkable signal of being among the very best in their track worldwide.
Can younger students reach the championship too?
Yes. Standing is computed per track, so Foundation and Explorer students compete for championship recognition within their own grade band, not against older students.
